This project aims to digitally simulate the evolution of the human presence in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland, from -10’000 to the present day. A pilot project will be devoted to the archaeological map of the town of Sion. This project uses the results of the work carried out during the autumn of 2019, which led to a first visualization of the evolution of Sion’s population between -10’000 and the Middle Ages.
