Ready to Level Up Your Trainer Skills?

Calling All Cultural Heritage Experts

If you’re working in the cultural heritage field and are passionate about topics like 3D, EDM, or copyright in the data space, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

The Europeana Train-the-Trainer Programme is looking for subject matter experts who are planning to design and deliver their own training. Whether you’re part of an aggregator, the Europeana Foundation, or a member of the Europeana Network Association (ENA), you’re invited to apply and take your skills to the next level.

What’s the programme all about?

This hands-on programme will help you:

  • Grow into a more confident and engaging trainer
  • Tackle tricky moments during sessions with confidence
  • Design training that’s inclusive and intercultural
  • Keep participants motivated and your sessions well-structured
  • Explore your personal style as a trainer and reflect on your learning journey

You’ll also get the chance to lead your own training session with your cohort and even practice communication skills with a professional actor.

There are four interactive online sessions:

  • Tuesday 20 May 2025 – 12:30–15:30 CEST
  • Tuesday 03 June 2025 – 12:30–15:30 CEST
  • Tuesday 24 June 2025 – 12:30–15:30 CEST
  • Tuesday 08 July 2025 – 12:30–16:30 CEST

Between sessions, you’ll need a few hours to prepare and read materials. The full experience is designed to fit smoothly into your schedule.

Participation is completely free. In return, you’ll be expected to share what you’ve learned by delivering training to others in your area of expertise.

Spots are limited to just 6 participants per cohort, so selection will be based on:

  • A good mix of participants from different organisations (EF, ENA, aggregators)
  • Diversity in training topics
  • Priority for those focusing on current issues in the data space

If you’re not selected this time, no worries – you’ll be notified about future cohorts, including one kicking off in early 2026.

Apply by 24 April 2025 at 17:00 CEST using the following link:

You’ll hear back by 28 April 2025.
