We are pleased to share the opening of registrations for the 2026 CIPA Heritage Documentation Summer School, which will take place in Batumi, Georgia, from 21–27 September 2026.
The Summer School offers an immersive, hands-on learning experience focused on architectural and cultural heritage documentation. It welcomes students, researchers, emerging professionals, and practitioners in architecture, archaeology, cultural heritage, geomatics, surveying, and related disciplines, as well as anyone interested in gaining practical experience with advanced heritage documentation technologies.
During the programme, participants will work on the documentation of a late 19th–early 20th century residential building, currently serving as the House of Architects in Batumi. Under the guidance of internationally recognised CIPA experts, participants will apply state-of-the-art digital documentation techniques while exploring one of Batumi’s remarkable examples of European-influenced architecture and its historic urban fabric.
