Call for Papers Now Open: DTI Conference Prague 2026

The Call for Papers for the Digitise. Transform. Inspire. (DTI) Conference in Prague 2026 is now officially open.

Taking place from 18–20 November 2026 at the historic Břevnov Monastery in Prague, the conference will bring together archivists, researchers, cultural heritage professionals, and technology experts from across Europe and beyond to explore the future of digital archives and historical knowledge infrastructures.

As a founding member of the DTI Alliance, Time Machine Organisation is pleased to support this important international initiative, which continues to foster collaboration around digitisation, artificial intelligence, interoperability, and innovative approaches to cultural heritage data.

What the Call for Papers is Looking For

The organisers invite contributions that present practical experiences, research results, innovative workflows, successful projects and lessons learned from digital archival and cultural heritage practice.

Submissions are encouraged across the conference’s three core themes:

  • Digitise: Preservation & access, scalable digitisation, preservation and access
  • Transform: AI & interoperability, AI-driven workflows, data enrichment, and interoperability
  • Inspire: Research & engagement, new forms of research, public engagement, and cultural storytelling

  • Archives and records management
  • Libraries and museums
  • Cultural heritage institutions
  • Universities and research organisations
  • Digital humanities
  • AI and data infrastructure development
  • Public sector and innovation initiatives

Authors are invited to submit abstracts by 1 August 2026.
