Funding Opportunity

ECHOES / ECCCH Second Call

The European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH), through the ECHOES project, has launched its Second Call for Engagement and Collaboration, offering new funding opportunities for cultural heritage organisations across Europe.

This cascading grants call aims to support initiatives that strengthen collaboration, skills development, and community building within the European cultural heritage ecosystem. It is designed to encourage active engagement with the ECCCH and to help expand its user community through practical, bottom-up actions.

Supporting Collaboration and Capacity Building

The call targets activities that promote knowledge exchange and cooperation among cultural heritage professionals and institutions. Supported actions may include training programmes, workshops, community events, help desks, hackathons, or other initiatives that enhance digital skills and foster collaboration.

By funding these activities, the ECHOES call contributes to shaping the ECCCH as a shared, user-driven digital infrastructure for cultural heritage in Europe.

Why This Call Matters

The ECCCH is envisioned as a key component of Europe’s digital transformation in the cultural heritage sector. Engagement and collaboration are essential to ensure that the platform responds to real institutional needs, supports diverse workflows, and remains accessible to organisations of all sizes.

Through this call, cultural heritage actors have the opportunity to actively participate in the development of the ECCCH and to help define how digital tools and services are used across the sector.
