How can culture and creativity help Europe navigate disruption and turn uncertainty into opportunities for meaningful change?
The EIT Culture & Creativity Ecosystem Forum 2027 will bring together stakeholders from across Europe in Vienna under the theme Harnessing Disruption. At a time when traditional blueprints are falling apart amid rapid societal and technological change, culture and creativity have a unique opportunity to act as catalysts for innovation, connection and resilience.
Under the overarching ambition of “Transforming Europe through Culture & Creativity,” the Forum will explore how cultural and creative ecosystems can empower communities and innovation networks to respond to emerging social, cultural and relational challenges. The event will provide a space for collective reflection, knowledge exchange and collaborative experimentation.
Over two days, representatives from the creative industries, public regional authorities and academia will come together to foster cross-sectoral collaboration and explore pathways towards sustainable, inclusive and place-based transformation.
By connecting thematic innovation with local challenges, institutional capacities and policy priorities, the Forum aims to strengthen dialogue across sectors and identify new opportunities for lasting societal impact. Through shared knowledge and transdisciplinary approaches, participants will explore how disruption can become a powerful driver of innovation and help build more connected and resilient communities.
Join the conversation in Vienna and be part of shaping how Europe’s cultural and creative ecosystems can contribute to meaningful transformation.
