Date: 6 May 2026, 10.00 -12:00 CET

Language: English

3D models have become integral to cultural heritage preservation and restoration, while also providing substantial opportunities to broaden access through immersive storytelling. How can compelling narratives be crafted using 3D models? What are the specific affordances of different eXtended Reality technologies? How can immersive experiences foster deeper visitor engagement?

In this hands-on co-creation session, powered by 3D-4CH, we invite you to think beyond 3D digitisation and step into a world of XR experiences. Together, we will explore how storytelling methods can be meaningfully connected to real-world needs, opportunities, and challenges. Through guided collaboration, participants will develop practical scenarios that turn digital heritage assets into engaging and accessible experiences.

Using a flexible toolbox of prompts and creative frameworks, you will identify the values, goals, and outcomes most relevant to your own work with 3D heritage.
