The ISTAR – Information Sciences, Technologies and Architecture Research Centre at ISCTE (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa) organises “ADD_In“, a summer school on advanced analysis for urban planning strategies and sustainable cultural heritage management.
What’s the focus?
ADD_In presents an overview of future trends and research that include AI and computational systems through an inclusive, innovative, and interdisciplinary perspective.
The purpose of this summer school is to give all students the opportunity to learn and apply new knowledge on spatial syntax analysis and sentiment analysis, adopting a user-centered approach.
Participants will work in supervised hands-on projects on:
- Cultural heritage planning and management strategies
- Computational Analysis Methodologies
- Data Science Tools (Python, Introduction to Data Analysis)
Who should attend?
Bachelor, master and postgraduate students and young professionals from disciplines related to heritage studies, urban and spatial planning.
