TMO joined on-site at the Art & History Museum in Brussels, where participants from across Europe gathered for the first 3D-4CH Winter School.
Over three days, heritage professionals came together to explore the transformative potential of 3D technologies in museums and cultural heritage, from cutting-edge digitisation techniques to immersive XR storytelling.
We witnessed participants dive into hands-on workshops, working directly with museum objects, experimenting with photogrammetry, structured light scanning, and digital storytelling. The sessions also covered essential skills like metadata capture, licensing, storage, and publishing via Share3D, bridging theory and practice.
The Winter School highlighted the growing impact of the 3D-4CH Online Competence Centre in training the next generation of digital heritage professionals, fostering cross-European collaboration, and advancing practical 3D skills in the sector.
Missed Day 1? Recordings will be available soon—stay tuned!
