I have a registered not-for-profit in Canada, which is good for the educational project, but I am thinking about establishing a company in Portugal for the touristic project.
Description
My name is Nidal Kotob. I am a Canadian citizen with around 15 years of experience in international banking and 11 years in education (high school 2 years, university 1 year, and college 4 years). I established a not-for-profit organization last year in May 2025, but I did not receive any support from the Canadian government. In addition, I was working as a business lecturer at Trios College in Toronto since Jan 10, 2022, but my career at Trios ended on Dec 15, 2025, due to changing governmental policies concerning international students in Canada. I was exploring several countries for placing those two amazing projects (Morocco, Egypt, the UAE, and Turkey). Luckily, I found your generous program, which motivated me to shift my attention to Portugal. I am able to attract tourists mainly from the Middle East, where I have very strong contacts. Also, I will try to attract tourists from North America. For the educational project, I will start with an international Canadian college that will be developed to a full-fledged Canadian university that will attract international students to Portugal. I will try to convince many of my ex-colleagues at Trios to join me in teaching in Potugal.
