The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in collaboration with the European Commission, will promote an online conference to launch the New Creative Europe Programme from Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon.
The launching of the new programme for 2021-2027 is a key moment to mobilize available funding towards the much needed relaunch of the European Cultural and Creative Sectors with an increased budget of 2.5 billion euros.
The conference will present the main novelties of the Creative Europe programme and explore its synergies with other European funding instruments. Experts, practitioners and representatives from high impact projects will bring their insights to inspire how to accomplish the vision and objectives for this new cycle.
Strategic discussions will be initiated on how to green up the audiovisual industry and make cross-border cooperation more compatible with environmental sustainability goals, as well as translating past results to shape the future sectoral approach to music.
