Shaping the Future of AI and 3D Digital Twins in Cultural Heritage

Artificial Intelligence is opening up new opportunities for the 3D digitisation, documentation, preservation and accessibility of cultural heritage. At the same time, its adoption raises important questions about responsible implementation, trustworthiness and the future of digital innovation in the sector.

As part of the European Commission’s Apply AI Strategy, the Second Stakeholder Forum on AI for 3D Digital Twins in Cultural Heritage aims to bring together experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences and explore how AI can support the development and use of 3D digital twins.

The initiative invites contributions from across the cultural heritage, research and technology communities. By bringing together different areas of expertise, the forum seeks to encourage dialogue, identify opportunities and address the challenges associated with applying AI to 3D cultural heritage.

At the Time Machine Organisation (TMO), we welcome initiatives that foster collaboration between cultural heritage and technology communities and contribute to a responsible, inclusive and forward-looking digital transformation of the sector.
