Modern Movement and Digital Challanges

DOCOMOMO Deutschland together with the Detmold School of Architecture and Interior Architecture (TH OWL) organise the 17th DOCOMOMO Germany Conference themed “Modern Movement and Digital Challanges”. It is their second event in Berlin and it will take place at the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts) for the first time. The conference programme is comprised of invited keynotes and selected scientific lectures.
Conference theme
The international conference is sectioned into three thematic blocks which will discuss different aspects of digitisation related to archives, museum, social media, planning and design tools. The focus is less on the technical aspects of digital aspects but more on how digital tools can help to involve different stakeholders to communicate and disseminate the concepts, visions and impulses emanating from modern movement.
Our Dutch Time Machine Ambassador Tino Mager (post-doc at the Chair of History of Architecture and Urban Planning at Delft University of Technology) will take the opportunity to present Time Machine as well as the ArchiMediaL project at the TU Delft he is currently involved in at the 17th DOCOMOMO conference.
