Time Machine | EBU Hackathon

4-5 February | Lausanne (CH)

Further to the initial kick-off workshop in September 2019, Time Machine and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will be hosting a hackathon to further explore the possibilities for future collaborations. Key participants of this event are representatives from the Local Time Machines with their expertise and their distinct insights.

Date: 4-5 February 2020
Place: EPFL, Lausanne (CH)

European Storytelling

European public broadcasters are always looking for stories to tell, or to reimagine in different ways, and Time Machine offers a potential gateway to new ideas. The goal of the hackathon is to delve deeper into the types of data Time Machine partners have available and to see what types of concrete storytelling ideas emerge, both in a local and a pan-European context. Participants will include documentary filmmakers/journalists from various European countries and representatives of Local Time Machines in those countries and others.
