Time Machine Organisation participated in the kick-off meeting of the Strategic Topic Group (STG) on Cultural Heritage of EIT Culture & Creativity, officially launching a European collaboration aimed at mobilising the cultural heritage community for the green, digital and social transitions.
Bringing together 16 organisations from 12 countries, the group will work over a ten-month period to identify shared priorities, connect existing initiatives and develop actionable recommendations for the future of Europe’s cultural heritage sector.
TMO takes the lead on the digital pillar, focusing on data spaces, interoperability, digital preservation and virtual worlds. Building on its expertise and previous European projects, TMO will contribute to developing a European strategy for digital heritage data.
An important part of the group’s work will also be to map existing expertise, initiatives and funding opportunities, while strengthening synergies with major European initiatives such as the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) and the European Heritage Hub.
Through this collaboration, TMO looks forward to contributing to a more connected, innovative and sustainable European cultural heritage ecosystem.
