The Hunt Museum is thrilled to offer a practical, inclusive 3D‑training series under 3DBigDataSpace designed to help cultural heritage professionals take the leap into 3D digitisation, modelling, fabrication and accessible display.
Whether you’re a curator, exhibition designer, access officer, or technical staff exploring 3D for the first time, this modular programme guides you through the essentials: from capturing objects with photogrammetry or 3D scanning, to cleaning and preparing models for printing, to fabricating tactile 3D prints and ultimately to preserving, licensing, and depositing 3D objects for long‑term access.
The training is split over several sessions: an in‑person full‑day workshop followed by online evenings giving both hands-on experience and flexible, accessible learning.
In addition to technical skills, participants will learn how to design inclusive, tactile heritage experiences that increase accessibility and engagement for all visitors, including those with visual impairment.
Join to build capacity in 3D heritage digitisation and help shape a more accessible, open, and innovative future for cultural heritage across Europe.
The next webinar will take place in December!
