ICARUS Croatia, ICARUS and the City of Pleternica (HR) together with further partners organise the 7th issue of ‘ICARUS Croatia Days’ under the topic: ‘Heritage Initiatives, Education and Digital Landscape’.
This year’s symposium is held within the framework of the Erasmus+ project ‘We Are All Together to Raise Awareness of Cultural Heritage‘ (WAAT) – an initiative that aims to develop a modern and dynamic system of understanding and promoting cultural heritage through digital stories. Based on the subject of cultural heritage, WAAT shows how self-made short films can be applied in adult education and at the same time, WAAT contributes to disseminating heritage in its widest sense by introducing a heritage digital video platform.
Besides the presentation of WAAT project activities and outcomes, the symposium will reflect initiatives and activities of the GLAM community connected with issues of digital storytelling and education, networking and use of multimedia in representations of cultural heritage, various digital cultural heritage platforms as well as scientific networks and initiatives.
The event will take place in the Interpretation Centre Terra Panonica in Pleternica in hybrid format, with presentations in Croatian and English language.
