First DARIAH-HR Conference “Digital Heritage & Humanities”

From 13-15 October the Croatian branch of DARIAH, the DARIAH-HR consortium organises its first international conference in Zadar (HR) and online. 

The programme brings together an international group of experts to discuss digital humanities & open science, cultural heritage in digital humanities, digital methods and tools, information organisation for the digital humanities as well as digital infrastructures.

Our very own Caroline Maximoff will present our Time Machine network with her talk on “Time Machine – On the Way to the Big Data of the Past”.

Conference Objective

This event is intended to provide a bridge between scientists and experts in the humanities, especially digital humanities, and professionals in the fields of library and information science, archival studies and museum cultural resource management. Its purpose is to promote the use of digital technology within heritage and humanities research as both a methodology and a tool in all domains of Humanities and Heritage sciences.

The aim of this conference is to bring together stakeholders dealing with heritage and its digital transformation.
