Alain Dubois

After obtaining a diploma as an archivist palaeographer in 2007 (Paris, Ecole nationale des chartes), Alain Dubois was appointed archivist at the State Archives of Valais, in Switzerland. Since 2014, he is the Head of State Archives of the canton of Valais, and founder of the Sion Time Machine project which evolved into the Valais-Wallis Time Machine Project in 2020. Since 2019, Alain has been the President of the Association of Swiss Archivists. He is also the operational director of Vallesiana.
